here first. until we are there.

Since I’ve been religiously doing the newsday crossword in the philippine star, I get to read my horoscope and the calvin and hobbes comic strip everyday.

This week, they’re printing the strips when a dog grabs hobbes and calvin is left looking for his best friend. And there’s that tearful strip where he’s going crazy worrying about hobbes — the last panel is him screaming out of the window “It’s my fault! I’m sorry!”

like someone leaving you is your fault.

And because it’s in a newspaper, i have to wait every single day until they finally are together again. today, susie has found hobbes and will have a tea party with him.

there’s something about having to wait a day until you know what’s going to happen next.

like the way people must have memorized serials because they’d read them over and over since they were waiting for the next portion to be published.

i don’t know. there’s just something poignant about that. *choke*
